Dear SBVC Players, Families, Coaches, and Community:

As you are all aware Kolby O'Donnell is stepping back from his Director duties and we would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his efforts the past few years. We are in the process of determining the best fit so that he can continue to have a positive impact on our community, as his young family grows and the Gauchos embark on their 2016 campaign. We are now ready and excited to announce the members of the SBVC leadership team who will be managing the club going forward!

We are pleased to announce that our current administrator, Kat Niksto, will take on an expanded role and title of Administrative Director which now includes day to day Director duties in addition to her role as Administrator. She will be the primary contact and oversight for each of the SBVC programs, Girls Travel, Boys Travel, Youth, and Beach. We are confident that this will ensure seamless continuity as we rapidly approach the upcoming season, and are grateful to Kat for taking on this expanded responsibility.

Long time senior SBVC coach and SBCC Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, Ed Gover, will assume the title of Coaching Director and will be responsible for ensuring our coaches and athletes are getting the maximum value out of their time in the gym and that all of our players develop their skills to the fullest extent. We greatly appreciate Ed stepping into this role as he will be a great mentor to all of our coaches and players.

Kat and Ed will be assisted in their roles by long time SBVC coach Dillan Bennett who will take on the role of Assistant to the Directors in addition to his role as Beach Director and we appreciate his increased efforts.

There will be full continuity in all of our youth programs as we are excited to have Justin Hertlein returning as Youth Director.

As always, we thank everyone in the SBVC family for their continued support! We are excited about the upcoming Girls and Boys Travel season tryouts, and our fall youth program MadSkillz. We would like to encourage everyone to reach out with any questions or suggestions. Thank you again!
