Training Teams

The Training Team Program is a revamping of our Regional Team and Blenders Programs that will focus solely on player development without the cost or commitment of traveling to tournaments in Orange County. Teams will train up to twice weekly, and regional competitions will be hosted for each Training Team.

We will have three Training Team age divisions; 5th/6th Graders, 7th/8th Graders, and High Schoolers (9th-12th). 

• Our High Schooler Training Team will practice beginning in November, and the season will run until mid-Feb when most high schoolers begin their HS Beach Seasons. 
• Our 5th/6th Grader and 7th/8th Grader Training Teams will begin practice in early-Feb when our Blenders Program typically began. These groups will finish late-May since they do not have a high school beach season. 

For our Training Teams, competitions will be hosted by SBVC, just like our Blenders League has in the past. We are working to revamp these events to include teams from the region and adjoining regions and provide more playing time for our participants with smaller team sizes based on available players for a given event. Those who participated in the Blenders League last year can remember that teams were formed based on the number of available players, which offers more flexibility for families with travel plans. Practices will be twice weekly for 1.5 hours each.

The cost for the season is $1200.

If we have players who would like to attend Overnight Events (Las Vegas Classic, Red Rock Rave, Far Westerns, West Coast Cup, or AAUs), teams can be created to attend those events at an additional cost.
