Santa Barbara Volleyball Club players bring back a metal from the AAU Junior Florida Beach Open.  Alison Minnich (15 Blue) and Ellie Gamberdella (14 Blue) teamed up for the beach competition on June 23rd in the 14's division at the AAU Junior Florida Open.  Competition included teams from Honduras, Puerto Rico, Florida, Tennessee, and other South East states.  Alison and Ellie played well and took first in pool play. Playoffs included very tough competition and the girls came from behind to close the day with a bronze metal.   This win also qualifies them for the AAU Junior Olympics held in July at Hermosa Beach. Great job girls!
